Biogas plant

A benchmark 1 Tonne capacity biogas plant was commissioned in 14th September 2022 in Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology. It was inaugurated by our Honourable Chancellor Dr. Mariazeena Johnson, President Dr. Marie Johnson, Vice Presidents Mr. Arul Selvan and Miss. Maria Catherine Jayapriya. The digester converts 1 Tonne food waste into 80-100 cubic meters of biogas. The initiative of Sathyabama is taken towards addressing the Global Climatic Change issues.
