Centre for Waste Management, Centre of Excellence for Energy Research (Bioenergy Division) Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology conducted a One-day hands on training on HYDROPONICS: SOILLESS CROP PRODUCTION TECHNIQUE on 22 NOVEMBER 2025. Students from Nantha Engineering College, Eeode, Panimalar Engineering College, Agni College of Technology, New prince College of Engineering and Vels university were participated in the training programme. The students were introduced to the Hydroponics, Techniques in hydroponics, growing media used, nutrient solution formulation and usage etc., Then the students were taken to the hydroponics demonstrated facility and given the demonstration. Students were enthusiastically participated in the programme and get awareness.
