Commemorating
National Science Day-2023
Centre for Waste Management, Centre of Excellence for Energy Research organized RENEW-2023, A Research Exploration for Novel and Eco-friendly Waste Handling Techniques on 28th February, 2023 Commemorating National Science Day, a project competition was organized. About fifty students from various colleges across Tamil Nadu participated in the competition.
The event also included invited talks by the scientists of the Centre elucidating the Research activities adding meaning to this year's National Science Day theme Global Science for Global wellbeing. Twenty-five teams applied of which ten teams were short listed and presented before the expert committee. Mr.Kishore Velu from Sri Venkateswara backed the first prize, Mr.Madhan V, Miss. Jayasri, Mr.Ilayaraja, Mr.S.Lichan Kumar, T.S.Amirtha Bharathi from Kongu Engineering College backed the second prize and Mr.K.Ajay, Me.Mohammed Sameer,Mr.Sujith Bantro and Nannesh Kumar S from Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan Engineering College backed the third prize. All the participants received the participation Certificates.
